An experiment was undertaken to examine the antiulcer efficacy of the dried bark powder of the herb Bauhinia racemosa in
wistar albino rats. Cysteamine produced duodenal ulcer in the rat is commonly utilized as a model of peptic ulcer disease. 36
wistar rats of either sex weighing between 180 -200gm were chosen and placed into six groups, each comprised of 6 rats.
