A New Prognostic Biomarker for Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma Associated With Immune Infiltration: Implications for COVID-19
Keywords:
Prognosis, ACE2, ccRCC, COVID-19, immunological infiltrationAbstract
SARS-CoV-2, the current severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus, has spread
around the world and is posing a major danger to human life, particularly for cancer
patients. Therefore, we aimed to ascertain the clinical functions of ACE2, the SARS-
CoV-2 cell entry receptor, in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). The prognostic and
clinicopathological features of ACE2 were ascertained using immunohistochemistry,
western blot findings, and the TCGA, GEO, and TIP datasets.
